Riding somewhere with the family is close quarters.  It’s hard to sneak a peek at your inbox.  We highlighted the co-driver idea a few months ago.  This takes you to a whole new level.

So you think the car is pulling to the left.  Pull over somewhere.  Safely.  Don’t be an idiot and park on the interstate.

The best tire is front left, provider you’re the driver.  If she’s the driver, then it’s rear right.  This keeps you out of view. 

If you need to buy extra time, go for the gold and change the tire.  Hard to argue with all that effort.  But we guarantee you that you will regret it later.

Tables at food places are typically wobbly.  This is your chance to take advantage of the opportunity to catch up on some BlackBerry usage.  It’ll only work once….and you better hope your phone doesn’t ring in your pocket after she thinks it’s on the floor.

Depending on the seating configuration in your vehicle, you might be able to squeeze a spot between you and the door or the middle console for your Blackberry to rest in clear view.

You’d be stupid to look at it while driving, of course.  Save your glances for the parking lot.

The memo application on the Blackberry is convenient.  Better yet, use it to its maximum potential:  check your inbox and RSS feeds while you’re taking notes. 

Be careful to avoid lengthy reading.  You don’t need to read the notes you’ve just typed…so you’ll rile some suspicion if you spend too much time not typing.

It’s hard for your family and friends to argue with you if nature calls.  I mean, come on, what are they going to say?  "Hold it"?
