Wirefly is offering the BlackBerry Curve smartphone for FREE for new or current AT&T customers with a new 2 year activation agreement. Choose from red or titanium, the Curve also includes one touch ESPN access. I’m really digging my 8830 World Edition, but the Curve seems much cooler to me.

I have to say that this BlackBerry 8830 World Edition
is a pretty fun little device. I really like the track ball and the screen is pretty vibrant. What makes this phone a World Edition is that it is packaged with power adapters for overseas usage. Wee…what fun. Let me give you a few pros of this phone according to me:
- Verizon’s Broadband lets you use the phone as a wireless access point with your laptop.
- Nice screen
- Light Sensitive keypad
- Easy to sync up with BlackBerry Exchange Server
- Nice skin-able OS
- Programmable quick keys
- GPS Capable
Now for the list of CONS:
- Microphone is too darn sensistive…picks up more background noise than you can imagine
- Before upgrading the OS, the BlackBerry 8830 would actually crash and would require removing the battery
- Battery life is horrible, especially if you have a low signal
- Ergonomically it is like talking to a cassette tape
- If you have Verizon, they purposely turn off the GPS capabilities
